For the A-Z challenge, we decided to post a new and original poem every day. Regina builds a nest for the letter "N".
Becoming a family
The bond that binds us
is the birds
as we turn our attention
to those nest builders
we collect our findings and
build one of our own.
Love this- so simple yet says it all!

Wow! I hope to nest that long ;) congrats
DeleteThis time of year, I see so many birds collecting bits for their nests and it does warm my heart to think about their little families about to be born and about the new baby in our family too. New life and family--your poem captures it all.

ReplyDeleteLovely as usual! Love that the birds are using last year's remnants from the flower beds to weave into their nests.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dawn.
DeleteBird nests are very precious. I always feel lucky when I spot one in a tree. Happy A to Zing.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. I found one the other day and thought how lucky am I.
