Sometimes motivation is hard to find on a blizard Monday morning, the third snow day in a row and when you have a case of cabin fever. And then the sun comes through making the backyard and front yard and all round you just gleam. So you sit at the corner of the dining table with your cup of steaming tea, read a couple of poems then close your eyes to the sunlight and bask where you find a glimmer of motivation.
Snow is what it does.
It falls and it stays and it goes.
It melts and it is here somewhere.
We all will get there.

And do you have a poem for frigid temperatures?
ReplyDeleteI hope that you can get some work done while you're in your cabin. The snow is the perfect excuse to go on a writing jam. I also hope that you have enough food and necessities as well. Please take care.
