This morning, Regina and I are participating in an online festival of networking!
We are a new blog but we aren't new bloggers. Both of us were proud members of Swagger Writers for almost two years before forging into the blogosphere alone (er, together) to create something we love.
Regina is the mother of three beautiful girls, two of whom have cerebral palsy. She mostly writes poetry these days but is also a wonderful novel writer!
Juliet is a college professor, children's writer and also a mother of three. She has a picture book, some short stories and a play published by various presses. She also writes for the SCBWI-IL Prairie Wind and just handed revisions of a contemporary YA off to her agent.
Please join us on this new journey by "following" our blog (left side of screen) or leave a comment below so that we can return the favor!

ReplyDeleteAnd right back at you, Mark, Mr. Blogger since 2006. :)
DeleteOh, I hope your agent loves your revisions! I'm an academic, too (though a researcher), so I feel your pain on time restraints... or maybe I feel my pain and just assume you have them too.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you two.
ReplyDeleteHi Regina and Juliet! So nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteYou too T. Drecker!
ReplyDeleteHi Hart! I definitely have time restraints and always feel guilty when I'm at one thing and not doing another. Right now, I am feeling guilty for responding to bloggers when I should be writing or revising manuscripts!
ReplyDeleteVery nice to meet you both (or re meet!)
ReplyDeleteYes, Hi Vik Lit! I think you read us on Swagger :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice to meet you, I am now following your blog. :D And thanks for dropping by mine!

Very lovely to meet you both. I am also a member of my local SCBWI chapter, and I'm working on a YA novel too!
ReplyDeleteI hope this year will be a productive writing year for you both.
So nice to meet you two! Fabulous name for the blog, by the way... great play on that ol mousey story, one of my favourites. I always liked the country mouse better, of course.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you ladies! Thanks for coming to my blog. :) Contemporary YA seems to be pretty popular right now, Juliet. I hope your agent loves it! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a fun blog by two great ladies. I'm glad I know you.
ReplyDeleteWe love you, Ann!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Rachel. I hope you are right :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting, Kim!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Mel. We will return the favor :)
ReplyDeleteCathy, you are so fun! I wish you lived nearby so I could take you out for a margarita and we could swap stories about teenaged sons.
ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia! Which chapter of SCBWI? I've gone to some Wisconsin and Michigan conferences :)
ReplyDeleteHello! It's a pleasure to meet you both. :)
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking "Regina is a Mom who writes poetry. Juliet is a Mom who teaches college. They fight crime!"
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what adventures are in store at the blog!
